i am really quite excited about this band. tilly and the wall is pretty interesting. their music isn't ravishingly excellent, but there is an energy about them that many bands lack. they are really catchy in a great way. my enthusiasm for the band grew when i found out that that magical tapping and clapping sounds are made by a lady. . . a lady in tap shoes. . . tap dancing - this i find great. maybe that's where the energy stems from; it's hard to be aloof and indifferent around a band that has a tap dancer. they are from omaha and they are the first band to be signed by connor oberst's new label. here they are. be happy and dance. weee. isn't this fun?
